Check-In with Me– Daily Reflection Journal
Prompt:
"Pause for a moment and check in with yourself today. Think of a situation where you felt something strongly—big or small. Describe the scene: where you were, who was there, and what unfolded. Notice how this emotion showed up in your body—tight shoulders, fluttering chest, shallow breath, or a rush of energy. Write down the thoughts, urges, or images that accompanied it. Then ask yourself: what might this emotion be trying to tell me about my needs, values, or boundaries? End by reflecting on one gentle action you could take next time to respond with awareness instead of reacting automatically."
Purpose: Cultivate emotional literacy by noticing, naming, and reflecting on everyday feelings.
Suggested Tool: Body Scan – gently move your attention through your body while writing to notice sensations.
Affirmation: “I notice my emotions with curiosity and care.”
